Last year, Netflix picked up all seven seasons of the animated fantasy series The Dragon Prince, meaning that even when you have to wait a while, the whole story will get told. And after three years, that story continues next month with season four, subtitled The Mystery of Aaravos!

Years have passed in the show, too, and all is not entirely well.

This trailer builds on what we saw in the clip that was released at San Diego Comic Con. Rayla (Paula Burrows) was gone, but now she’s back (with an incredibly adorable little friend in her backpack). Viren (Jason Simpson ) has been dead for two years, but his daughter Claudia (Racquel Belmonte) has succeeded in bringing him back to life—for a limited time. For him to live beyond the thirty days of her spell, Claudia and Viren will need the help of the mysterious Startouch Elf, Aaravos (Erik Todd Dellums).

Meanwhile, Ezran (Sasha Rojen) and Callum (Jack De Sena) are preparing for an impending visit from the Dragon Queen, and Callum isn’t over Rayla’s departure. Much of the trailer is quick, action-heavy cuts set to a monologue about how pain and fear make us want to hurt others—one that ends with a desire to make it all stop, and a question: “So what do we do?”

You’ll find out when The Dragon Prince‘s fourth season premieres on Netflix on November 3rd.
